“My Eye Is Ever on Those Who Love Me”
Beloved seekers,
Shirdi Sai Baba once assured His devotees:
“My eye (of vigilant supervision) is ever on those who love Me.”
This is not the eye of mere watching.
It is the eye of compassion, protection, and guidance.
In our scriptures, we find the same promise in the Bhagavad Gita, where Lord Krishna declares:
“I personally take care of those who remember Me with devotion.”
This tells us a great truth:
When devotion is sincere, Divine care becomes automatic.
🌼 Bhakti: Love That Attracts Grace
True bhakti is not just ritual.
It is trustful surrender.
When a devotee says in the heart:
“Baba, I am Yours,”
Baba responds:
“I am responsible for you.”
Like a loving mother watching her child,
Baba’s grace silently guards us—
in sickness, in confusion, in danger, and in doubt.
Many times, we are saved without even knowing it.
That is Baba’s eye at work.
🌿 Wisdom: Seeing the Hidden Hand
From the standpoint of jñāna (wisdom), this “eye” is also inner awareness.
As devotion deepens:
- Our conscience becomes sharper,
- Our choices become purer,
- Our mind becomes calmer.
We begin to feel:
“Something within is guiding me.”
That is Baba awakening the Divine intelligence inside us.
Grace outside becomes wisdom inside.
🔥 Practical Message for Daily Life
When problems arise, remember:
✔️ Do your duty sincerely
✔️ Keep faith steadily
✔️ Offer results to Baba
Then say:
“Baba, You know. I trust You.”
And move forward without fear.
You may not see immediate miracles,
but protection is always working quietly.
🌸 Conclusion
Baba’s saying means:
- For the devoted → Protection
- For the sincere → Guidance
- For the wise → Inner awakening
If our love is steady,
His care is constant.
Let us live with this confidence:
“I am never alone. Baba’s eye is on me.”
That faith itself becomes our strength, peace, and liberation. 🙏
